Rokkky is 40, going on 20! That’s right -- the host of Rokkky Mera Naam, the highest-rated show in television history and an 80s supestar, Rokky is 40 years ‘young’, though mentally, he’s still in the mid 20s!

Brought up by his nanny in a cottage by the sea after greedy relatives and crooked lawyers relieved hm of his inheritance after his parents died when he was only 12, Rokkky slept his way through college (pun intended!) and started hanging around film sets to - ahem! - score with the women! His first conquest proved a very good one for his career -- she was a producer’s daughter, and helped him with his incredibly fast climb up the ladder of success, to the very top of tinsel town.

An incorrigible flirt, Rokky is smooth, suave and sure around women, and manages to be charming most of the time, and though he does get his come-uppance once in a while, he always recovers well and even when rebuffed, is unflappability personified! His current object d’desire? Tina! And that happened ever since he made a casual pass at her and she shrugged him off.

The epitome of style, Rokky dresses to be noticed -- always natty, at times even zany.

An avid attention seeker, Rokky will go to any length to be the center of attraction, including breaking into a song and dance. “The world is a stage and I am a mere superstar, my lord!” is his other favourite line. On the show, he treats Monty, the singer and bandleader, as his sidekick. Each time he cracks a joke, he looks Monty’s way for appreciation.

He has great reverence -- feigned or otherwise -- for the seniors in the industry. He is extremely polite and respectful in his language, even when he is taking the pants off them in public!
